Weekends are all about enjoying lazy breakfasts, whether you love a full English or you’re all about pancakes and maple syrup. A lot of traditional brunches are made with lashings of butter, however, so here are some alternative recipes for those who would prefer to use ghee instead.
Ghee French toast

Now you can make the scrumptious dish without feeling guilty by swapping the fat for the healthier alternative, organic ghee.
Simply whisk eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon and ghee to form a mixture, and dip bread on both sides until it is soaked. Put one tablespoon of ghee in a pan to melt and fry the bread until it is brown on both sides. Drizzle with maple syrup for extra sweetness.
Healthy oatmeal
If you want a nutrient-dense breakfast, make this oatmeal recipe. It is made with rolled oats and cinnamon, but the flavour really comes from the caramelised bananas that have been fried in ghee.
You can add what you like for toppings, but coconut flakes, seeds, berries and nut butter were recommended.
Breakfast biscuits
This breakfast recipe makes breakfast a legitimate choice for the first meal of the day, so who are we to argue? Make the scone-like cookies with flour, sugar, baking powder, cold ghee, applesauce, and almond milk. Once they are combined, bake for 20 or so minutes until golden brown.
